BRANDING / ILLUSTRATION / RESPONSIVE WEB DESIGN
My personal site, Upward creative, is built using the 'Responsive Web Design' technique, meaning its content dynamically adjusts according to the devise accessing it. Currently the site adapts for devises with screen resolutions ranging between 320 and 1200 pixels before settling and centrally floating content for anything larger. In contrast to regular websites this reflowing and resizing of content ensures that my site remains legible and looking great wether viewed on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop PC.
This is something I wished to implement due to increasing access to the internet via mobile devices, such as phones and tablets like the iPad. Currently 45% of internet users use a mobile phone to access the internet and it's predicted within the next 5 years that more users will connect to the internet via mobile devises than desktop PCs.
The design, identity, branding, illustration, copywriting and development of this site were all done by me, including any implementation of these elements into print and promotional material.
