After a successful pitch, we were selected from a group of national agencies to design and produce the 2014 campaign for the UK Young Artists Festival, a national arts event showcasing work from young creative practitioners aged 18 to 24. Every two years, the event moves to one of their several set locations, with Leicester chosen to host the festival for 2014.
Following on from previous events, UKYA provided us with a concise range of colours, each relating to a different area of the arts. To create a campaign that stood apart from previous years we focused on the idea of 'shining light on young talent'; crafting bespoke illustrated neon lighting via 3D software.
The festival's visual language was then rolled out across all of their promotional materials, from programmes, posters and flyers to window vinyls, animations, badges, lanyards and beermats.
