Sacca Fisola is an island of the Venetian lagoon and is connected to the island Giudecca. The June 16, 2011 there were 1,458 inhabitants. It was made in the sixties for burial of a pre-existing salt marsh and then, like other bags, an artificial island. It houses a popular neighborhood of relatively new (the seventies).
In this series I wanted to represent the island of Sacca Fisola through its architecture, which is not part of the typical Venetian architecture.
