Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery was the first of the Austin Powers films and has been available on every format in the UK and released many times. Our client had the license for a special Steelbook Blu-ray re-issue and needed a concept that would draw the attention of Steelbook collectors.

 

The key art for the original is very well known and we needed something different to attract renewed interest. Our solution was to hide all the psychedelic graphics inside the steel box and tease the collectors with a hidden collectors edition concept.

 

The Steelbook was an exclusive for Zavvi and sold out its 4000 unit run on pre-sales.
