Sasquatch! Festival Redesign
This is a redesign of the Sasquatch! Festival poster. They're known for changing their theme and style every year so this made it quite suitable for a redesign. I based my style on their current style which is fun and has a lot of illustrations. The one thing that returns in all their posters is the monster itself: Sasquatch. So I made my version: a cute, lovable and huggable little fellow.

The sketch and the elaboration. For my colour palette I chose something bright and vivid to make my sasquatch stand out and have a fun atmosphere around him.
The Gorge, where the festival is held, consists of big green hills. This was my guideline for making the background. Sasquatch festival is also about camping which I why I eventually settled on a night theme. This also made the bright colours of the monster stand out more and really made it the focus point in the poster.
