LT ANYKŠČIŲ MIESTO ARCHEOLOGINĖ EKSPOZICIJA A. BARANAUSKO AIKŠTĖJE 2014

Anykščių miesto centrinėje dalyje, pietinėje A. Baranausko aikštės pusėje, XIX a. - XX a. buvo gyvenamųjų, prekybinių pastatų kvartalas. Antrojo pasaulinio karo metais miesto centrinės dalies pastatai buvo išsprogdinti ir sugriauti, sovietiniais metais šioje vietoje įrengtas skveras.
Kūrybinių dirbtuvių tikslas – sugeneruoti architektūrines-menines idėjas, kurių pagalba būtų numatoma atidengti buvusių senųjų pastatų pamatų vietas bei rūsių liekanas ir po to atlikus konservavimo-restauravimo darbus, pritaikyti šias vietas eksponavimui.
Pagrindinė projekto idėja – Anykščių A. Baranausko aikštę formuoti dviem lygiais ir taip dalį išlikusių rūsių daryti prieinamus visuomenei. Aikštės pagrindiniu akcentu tampa laisvės paminklas, o į jį išvedamos istorinės bei naujos kompozicinės ašys, jungiančios su miestu. Teritorija dalinama į aktyvaus ir pasyvaus poilsio zonas. Aktyvioji numatoma kaip įvairių miesto renginių, švenčių, žaidimų, sporto erdvė; pasyviojoje įrengiama terasa- amfiteatras, paviljonai, ekspozicijos rūsiuose.
EN THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL EXPOSITION OF A. BARANAUSKO SQUARE IN ANYKŠČIAI 2014

In the 19th and 20th centuries there used to be a residential and commercial buildings quarter in the central part of the city of Anykščiai (Lithuania). During the Second World War buildings were fully destroyed and in the years of Soviet rule a square was located there. The aim of the workshop was to generate architectural-artistic ideas that would unveil and exhibit the remains of historical building foundations and basements.
The main idea of the project was to create a two-level central city square and make the part of the basements available for the public accessability. The Monument of Freedom becomes an accent of the square and an important point were historical and new composition axes, connecting the site with the surrounding territories, cross. The area is divided into passive and active recreational zones. Active zone is planned as an area for main city events, festivals, sport and playgounds. Passive part of the square is designed as a teracce-amphitheater with pavilions and expositions in the uncovered basements.
