Book cover, book set and logo design for "Post-Apocalyptic Press" a fictitious book publisher that focuses on books about dystopian societies.
For the logo, I wanted to convey a barren wasteland, usually seen in dystopian stories and cause by nuclear fallout. I combined the image of a burnt tree with a tire swing and an omega symbol to create a skull.
I choose those three books who have a similar theme for the set. To unify the covers, I chose symbolic destruction through a silhouetted hole on the cover. Each die-cut represents an aspect of each book and changes the image to symbolize one of the main themes of each book. For the book set, I related to a NFPA panel, which is a clear indication of what sort of dangers lie ahead, or in this case, inside each book.
