Earlier this year I was invited by New Rule to take part in a group exhibition dedicated to Back to the Future called '1.21 Gigawatts'. I obviously immediately accepted and began work on my poster.
I decided early on to do the poster for Part III as I felt it would probably be the most ender-represented film, and also because I thought it'd be fun to try and give the poster a more action/western feel than the usual DeLorean imagery.
We were restricted to only using 3 colours - a blue, a red & the resulting overlay colour, a dark blue that could be used for lineart.
