When I found an old Pentax p30 in my father's stuff, that started my passion for analogue photography. Coincidentally I began to take classes in photography in college: all the traditional process - film, revelation and everything. There is nothing practical in analogue photography, the challenge starts with the choice of the film, the time of day, find the right moment to capture an image and still have to wait for film development, scanning the images and, finally, analyze the results. A small mistake can mean repeating the whole process, as well as the discovery of something new, different and revealing, that you could not imagine at the time of capture. Film is poetry.

Quando eu encontrei uma velha Pentax p30 nas coisas do meu pai, começou minha paixão por fotografia analógica. Coincidentemente eu comecei a ter aulas de fotografia na faculdade: todo o processo tradicional - filme, revelação e tudo mais. Não há nada de prático em fotografia analógica, o desafio começa na escolha do filme, do horário do dia, encontrar o momento certo de capturar uma imagem e ainda a espera da revelação do filme, escanear as imagens e analisar os resultados. Um pequeno erro pode significar repetir todo o processo, como também a descoberta de algo novo, diferente e revelador, que não imaginávamos no momento da captura. Filme é poesia.
