The FILA ENERGIZED® - Zimwi running shoe was inspired from an old African legend of the Boogie Man. The story is told to little children that do not behave or obey their parents and goes like this. An ogre would kidnap little children who misbehaved and didn't obey their parents. It would torture and eat them.
FILA wanted to create a running shoe that was inspired from an ancient folklore and cultural element from Kenya for adult runners who want to overcome their own personal demons and fears.
The Zimwi is powered by a tri density midsole construction called Energized® and offers mega max cushioning and shock absorption. Additional details include GID and 3M details for early morning and late night training.
