As a part of the 2014 Eskom light competition. I created the Aboo light for a kitchen
island-unit. This task lamp is able to provide light to two cooks individually. Made from bamboo and aluminium, both lights can rotate individually so as to direct the light. Each light is turned on with its own tilt switch, and held up by rare earth magnets. The light uses anti-slip silicone feet and CFL energy saving light bulbs.
