ira is a series of fucntional serving trays, inspired from nature. Several elements like trees, flowers,buds and stems are transfered on fabric with simple stitches and using shades of threads to enhance the designs. Few from the collection are combining digital print and embroidery together, an effective use of mixed media art. Each piece embroiderd on raw-silk fabric, protected by a see-through lamination sheet giving it a glass effect on top, and finally finished with a light wooden frame, making it entirely functional for the purpose.
