The 'Drummer' movement was developed from rock music and summer visual dairy. The things that changed over time in these works was whether the image should be abstract or realistic, experimenting with line, color and composition. Roy Lichtenstein was a huge influence on this work with his piece 'Pitcher Triptych'. Music to me has always been an avenue to help me forgot about problems and put the world aside and just relax. We treat music like addiction or like a religion. The work is also trying to give a sense of atmosphere like the vibe you would get at a music venue or festival.
