ARTICLE:
THE GOSPEL HAS COME A LONG WAY
Throughout History, the Truth has pushed and weaved and curled its way forward. Sure we could beg to differ with our poetic, petty, intelectual, or just downright augmentative opinions, but it can be largely agreed upon that the Truth is the only way forward (dispite the inevitabilities of man’s struggle with fleshly misdirection). “Misdirection?”, I hear you question, how rude of me not to elaborate and no, not the kind of misdirection that lands little old ladies in grumpy Toyotas in ghetto hoods. No, I am talking about misdirection that merely means error, or mistake or simply the forgetfullness of ones identity.
Now, again I feel the question bubbling in that head of yours dear reader and its probably along the lines of , “What on earth are you going on about?”.
Well, I am speaking about the Truth, of course. Not the Truth that you know, or the Truth I had previously known, but the Truth that is ! I mean this in no nasty or accusing tone, I simply want to point out that with a new heart and renewed mind there is no longer any lie that can force the Truth to be slowed down since it is so expected to be unexpected and misleading.
Now let us briefly go back to a time when fire was a recent discovery and loincloths were acceptable.
I would like to deem this the very pinpoint that thereafter the Truth took a long walk.
We all know that when the Truth becomes known it gives birth to sight and perspective.
This Truth however was different as it was the knowledge of freedom throughout its tempremental history.
A Truth so illustrated by many men through rules and law, yet a Truth that could not commence forward without one man breaking them.
Jesus did away with the law. Since the spoken words “Let there be light” the Truth has come a long way.
Now Truth has freed us from all the constraints of tradition in the past.
No, Truth cannot be done away with when it is heard, as it has all been portrayed differently before.
I will stretch my historian legs here and dutifully ask,“At what cost did this happen?”.
If you thought there was no price to pay for freedom because of the Truth then the Truth means nothing ,
Jesus does not exist and im writing this for nothing. Then allow me to point out how utterly untrue that is.
Well, at least it is to me. The Truth’s rapid liberation allowed for it to quickly become predictable and stuntted by a looming normalicy.
“What is there left to free ourselves from?”.
Think of Truth as the romantics, dadaists and impressionists did. For all these artists the truth meant something different.
From its function to its character, Truth took no notice to what it couldn’t do and obediently followed the characteristics of its era.
Now think of the Truth today? Who are its speakers? Who aren’t its speakers? Who is still following the old rules?
We are now living in a world where Truth is not freedom , everything has already been revealed.
Sure the Truth these days has become humanistically displaced and extravagant, intricate and provacative leaving love on the back seat.
The way forward has been set already. Or is that just what the romatics, dadaists and the impressionists thought?
Maybe our greatest flaw is not that we have too freely aquired freedom.
Maybe our greatest flaw is that we assume we are free.
'Freedom is a renewed mind like Christs’
“Here we stand soldiers at the front line of a long line behind us
how are we to go forward, when is it so necessary to remove
ourselves completely? There are no more lies, we have exhausted
their length, now the lie kisses the very humble beginning from
which it came, a beautiful life now, Truth is not dead it is simply simple
*and we are but the dizzy tired chosen people sick to death in confusion”.
