The Witches of Eastwick

5th, 6th and 7th November 2015

PAUL MCCARTNEY AUDITORIUM, LIPA

A musical comedy by JOHN DEMPSEY and DANA P ROWE

Frustrated and bored by their mundane lives, three women become besotted with a charismatic and mysterious man who appears suddenly in their small town. Darryl Van Horne embodies their shared longing and desire for “all manner of man in one man” but displays unnerving, devil-like characteristics.

Seducing each of the women, Darryl teaches them how to unlock their hidden magical powers, though their new unorthodox lifestyle scandalises the town. As their powers start to be used for increasingly sinister purposes, events spiral out of control and the women come to realise that Darryl’s influence is corrupting them and everyone he comes into contact with. They must use their new-found strength to exile him from their lives.

Performed by third-year Dance students.
