People's Postcode Lottery - How it Works
The challenge was to explain how the Postcode Lottery (www.postcodelottery.co.uk) works in a very simple and effective way. The goal was to have neat animations and a voiceover that wouldn't be too overwhelming or distracting for the viewers.
The challenge was to explain how the Postcode Lottery (www.postcodelottery.co.uk) works in a very simple and effective way. The goal was to have neat animations and a voiceover that wouldn't be too overwhelming or distracting for the viewers.
The Podington Bear's track gives the animation a very elegant touch together with the settle sound effects. I acted as designer, director and animator, making this my very first big project.

The Museo Slab 500 typeface is a perfect fit for the graphic style. It was chosen right at the very beginning.
The People's Postcode Lottery doesn't have a visually represented draw, for this part of the video the challenge was to create, using few elements, something that could resemble the idea of a postcode being drawn by hand.
20% of the tickets proceeds goes to good causes.
