Traditionally, Paan was offered as a welcome sweet at social gatherings, some offered it to guests as a sign of hospitality. It had a symbolic value at the ceremonies and cultural events in India. Paan was ubiquitous(omnipresent) in all parts of India, but in modern times it has lost its importance and is rarely seen. So we came up with this concept of paan packaging to promote paan as a sweet. This is a hypothetical project done for a brand called Giloree.

So my task was to give the structural packaging. Graphic design by Roomani Kulkarni
First design can hold 6 paans which can be used as a family pack and the other design is the couple pack. Family pack can be parcelled and carried to a social gathering where you have been invited for lunch or dinner as a sweet to relish instead of chocolate or ice-cream pack.
Packaging has been designed keeping in mind the requirement of ease to carry and quantity.
