Initial sketches blown up and printed at full size to get a better idea of where i wanted to go with the carving.

Started off with insulation foam cut to the shape of my character's silhouette, then hot glued together to form the overall shape of the head. Then started to carve and shape the facial features with a cutting blade.

Chente head prepped and ready for a little airbrushing.

Faux fur fabric and eyebrows getting attached with a little hot glue. Also added a little gray to the fur to give it some depth.
