SpareOne Phone is the world's only fully functioning emergency phone powered by a single AA battery with a 15-year shelf life. 

Without any LCD information display, the archetype of the display screen was used to showcase the hero of this device — the long-lasting AA Energizer battery. We designed an intuitive layout with the Emergency button (for SOS calls) being the center of the button interface. The other features that we rationalised necessary were a slim form factor, tactile button designs, programmable phone-number memory and the universal LED torchlight.

With the emergency phone and the AA battery as starting elements, we developed a logo with a clean and modern typeface to convey the innovation of the company and the emotional relevance of the products to the iconic common batteries.
