A project proposal to secure funding for a relaunch of IRIN as an independent humanitarian news and analysis service. IRIN provides reporting on global crises in regions often under reported. Their goal is to create a greater awareness and understanding of regional issues and events. Contributing to a better-informed and more effective humanitarian action.
The proposal was successful and resulted in receiving the funding needed to become an independent network.
