Thomson Lewis & Co. Ltd. were a Wellington, New Zealand based company who were established as a limited liability company in 1917 but have history dating back to the 1880s. They were a well respected and well liked aerated water company who also produced a popular range of soft drinks including their classic 'Old Fashioned Ginger Beer'. The company stopped all production in the 1980s as they were taken over by Coca-Cola.
The re-branding of Thomson Lewis & Co. focussed on the companies Old Fashioned Ginger Beer. The campaign is targeted at New Zealand consumers of all ages, but primarily those who grew up in or prior to the 1980s as these are the people who are the most likely to remember the company before it closed down, which is why traditional colour and aesthetic has been the main theme throughout the campaign.
