Enthralling Queen of Hills

I wanted to come up with an unusual perspective to capture the journey from the foot hills of Nilgris mountains to the Queen of Hills Ooty through the Frames of my Car Windows.
When I say Queen of Hills (Ooty) all I could think of are the words Magnificient, Mesmerising, Radiant, Pleasant and I can go on describing its enthralling beauty. No matter what time of the day it is, Ooty never fails to please me!
Ootacamundand better known as Ooty is located 80kms north of Coimbatore. This Hill station was originally occupied by the Todas.
Today, the town's economy is based on tourism and agriculture, along with manufacture of medicines and photographic film.

Enroute to the Queen of Hills you can come across several picturesque picnic spots with lofty mountains, dense forests and scenic grasslands.
That peaceful state of mind I experienced watching these mesmeric views gave
me
a positive vibe!
This steel bridge that is used to go up the hills via Mettupalayam was built in 1925 by Jessop and Company.
I couldnt stop clicking pictures of these amazing patterns created by this Old strong bridge.
Travelling through those Curvy Roads of the Nilgris Hills itself is an amazing experience!
I really wanted to share this picture majorly for its breathtaking view of the hills.
These High Eucalyptus Trees you come across offers a picturesque look to Ooty and its environment.
The smell of these trees itself is an heavenly for the visitors.
As I climbed up and when the temperature started dropping down the icy cold feel which I felt while watching those beautiful blue skies with those fluffy white clouds clashing the lushy green mountains is beyond my words to describe.
Coonoor is a hill station, 17kms away from Ooty.It is famous for the Nilgiri Mountain Railway which is one of the oldest mountain railways in India. This railway links Coonoor to the town of Mettupalayam at the foot of the hills.
Destination Arrived : The journey up to Ooty by road was quite romantic with the low temperatures and the scenic views, completely a feel good road trip. :)
Or Atleast thats how i felt throught the entire journey!
