This is a logo that I made for a small construction and home repair company.  One day as was looking at the company name, I thought about how I could come up with branding that involved a sunrise and home construction. It dawned on me (get it?) that a rising sun on the horizon kind of resembled a construction helmet. After I showed it to the company owner, we agreed that it was missing something… that's when the house/door came along. Originally the outline was solid black as were the words "construction inc." but the more I stared at it the more it seemed to be harsh on the eyes so I went with a simple dark gray.
