Building or even designing anything to monastery garden of such an important monument as Emauzský klášter is, one must be very careful and cautious and have a great humility. Current state with tennis courts in monastery garden is absolutely outrageous and I am trying to fix it. My primary goal is to reinforce strengths, especially the monastery and its garden. Mass of my building is basicly formed by the surrounding environment, I obey street line of neighbouring building. From west is my limitation the eastern wall of monastery, I am not crossing the line of this wall and this is my way to respect the historical monument of monastery. In the same time I am building up to the same height as surrounding buildings. This project is bringing new function into the neighborhood, theater, it is an initiatory building.
