In order to showcase my illustration work, I created a range of unisex swimwear patterned with a series of different illustrations. I wanted the range to be fun and an alternative to the majority of existing swimwear brands, and so, the themes I used were 90s, bugs, weapons and food.
Instead of creating packaging for the swimwear, mini drawstring bags were designed that packaged the swimwear and were also functional as novelty bags that could be used to carry items around at the beach or pool.
This project took on a collaborative effort with fashion designer Michael Wagner jumping on board to design and sew the swimwear and the drawstring bags for the range.
