I also directed all the animation part of the project, from the characters to the special effects of the attacks. Considering the number of animations (If I recall, around 130) I had to optimize my work to fit in the mobile game size limitations, without
overshooting the budget. Animations usually don't exceed one second, to be smooth but very short.
For the characters, I created 3 different builds with interchangeable elements. So it was possible to switch some animations and re-use them to ease the process.However, each character is different with a strong personality, so each one has unique facial expressions and animation for its profile.You can see some previews below, and more in the following video:
