PipPap 3 - iPad app
Finally done: The third app of children's stories project for iPad

All apps in this series are designed entirely based on HTML 5, CSS3 and JavaScript. This time I have tested - in addition to improvements in design and UI - the technical limitations of the iPad by a lot more pictures, very complex animations and numerous sounds.
Conclusion: Yes, the iPad has specific problems with complex, script-controlled animations and sound impressions. It was a challenge to develop animation and interactivity along the technical limits so that they do not interfere the presentation of the story. A very 'educational excursion' ...

Some exemplary scenes with the picture elements of the animations ...
... more scenes and animation elements in overview ...
Facts:
23 scenes, over 600 drawings, 79 animated picture parts in scenes, 32 sounds, 3 months production time

Used Tools:
Illustrator, Photoshop, Edge Animate, Audition …

Team:
Peter Deeg (Author); Christian Thamm (direction, illustration, animation, sound setting and app production); Jonathan Holler: (app shell coding)
October 2015, Christian Thamm
