Hono is the result of the final group project of the Corso di Alta Formazione in Type Design, which took place at the Milan’s Politecnico. The brief was about the creation of a typefamily with different characters, with the same project matrix. The result is Hono, a 4-font system that, according to their weight, change their nature, adapting to different supports and applications.
The four variables are Hono Mono, Hono Sans, Hono Serif and Hono Display.
The project is opensource and it’s under development.
