Fortissimo Class is a school program oriented to kids in 4th grade. They are introduced to classical music in the most entertaining way. Professional musicians visit the classes, explain the history of a certain musical instrument and even

let children play for a few minutes.

To announce its main goal, the program needed a poster with empty spaces

to fill in the individual schedule for each school.

We wanted to create a poster relevant to the program’s mission – learning about music

through playing a musical instrument.

We came up with the idea of a poster that teaches children how to play the piano

(the only instrument available in each school) in a totally new way.

We adapted the most significant classical pieces into simple melodies of not more than 20 tones and created tutorials about all of them. We attached the tutorials to the posters so kids could easily tear one tutorial off, place it on the piano and start playing.
