Third Year Portfolio Book, 2014-2015
Instead of presenting my work in a sketchbook, I decided to create a portfolio book digitally which I would then print and bind at the end of a year to create an actual book. For me i felt this best as it would allow me to go back and edit pages I had previously made, take out parts that were irrelevant and also allow me to mess around with the order of the content, enabling me to finally present a portfolio book that flows well as a whole. As most of my work was 3D base I had to use photographs to document the work so I felt that creating a book to print would be the best form of presentation.
With book design being something that I am also interested in I thought this would be a great way to incorporate it into my practice allowing me to also research graphic design techniques and layouts.
