How do you reposition a museum after a three year renovation in a city with the highest museum density in the world? Especially when it’s a maritime museum that -unlike Amsterdam’s most famous museums- isn’t located around the aptly named “Museum Square” and was considered by most people as a 'miniature boat museum'.
We decided to tell the truth: without Dutch maritime prowess, the world would have been a different place. (Of course, we then exaggerated a little.)
