Nongon Is an abstract first-person parkour platformer made in Unity 3D. Its inspiration comes from when I used to play around in Halo Reach forge mode, creating maps where I would throw together big floating piles of pieces and try to climb to the top of them. It primarily uses Ultimate FPS and AC Parkour for Unity that made for a great starting point for me to have tight first-person controls and parkour traversal moves like mantling, wall-running, and wall-jumping. I had to make some big changes to these assets since they were lacking features I needed and had bugs that were impeding my work.

It was a passion project for almost 2 years, but more promising projects took my attention away from it. As well, I started the project when I was still fairly new to Unity, so as I got better and returned to the project it became more difficult to continue work since the code wasn't well written. Some day I'd like to remake it with my current stronger knowledge of Unity.

All of the 3D modeling, 2D art, and programming (besides the Ultimate FPS and AC Parkour) is done by me. The soundtrack was produced by Matt Slifka. You can download the game here to try out.
