As part of a Western District Stories series for Shun Hing College, we explore the stories and cultures of an old district that is rapidly devolping and modernising. 'Sam Hui Yat' is a dim sum restaurant that has been in the Western District for many decades. Through their hand made dim sum, a traditional Cantonese cuisine, the staffs have drawn the attention and enthusiasm from both the young and old in Hong Kong.
In this film, Mr. Ng, one of the restaurants many loyal customers who to drew a sketch of the crew, talks about what he thinks of the place and its people.
