The Hex Shade - Parametric Kinetic Shading
The Hex Shade is a parametric shading system project which was created as a Surface Instantiation Grasshopper Exploration. I explored various definitions and recieved various results. I ended with a definition which operates on a switch (boolean toggle) which controls the fritted glass system which would actively affect thermal comfort in the room. I also used this project as an oppurtunity to explore rendering in Lumion for one of the first few times. I look forward to developing an extensive Lumion portfolio as I believe it is a program that will revolutionize the architectural visualization industry. This was a theoretical exploration for my Experimental Modeling class in the Fall of 2015.
