This is my second project for digital collectibles platform NeonMob. I made a collection of beautiful and extraordinary butterflies and moths imagined as pieces of decorative art made of gemstones, pearls, metal, silk, feathers, fur, fabric and other materials. The style of illustrations is quite different comparing to my usual style. I've chosen it for making details look smooth, iridescent and gleaming. Most of the butterflies are made of gemstones that look like a colourful caramel candy.
NeonMob is a very interesting place for artists and everyone who is interested in art, illustration, comics and animation. You can discover lots of new artists and their artworks (which may be illustrations or animations) and take part in a game of collecting and trading cards. The cards of a collection may be common, uncommon, rare, very rare and extremely rare which are much sought after by collectors. Each series may be a story in pictures, description of a fantasy world or just a collection of interesting characters and things.
