A Louisiana Saturday

A Saturday home game in Baton Rouge is unlike any other experience in a football fan’s life. The LSU Tigers have an infectious spirit about them that can turn an ordinary person into a crazed, passionate football lover. I journeyed through LSU campus with some friends during the game against E. Michigan. From tailgating, to eating corndogs, to the intense moments in Death Valley, this is what it’s like to be an LSU Tiger on a Saturday night.
LSU fans set up their tailgates and mingle with one another hours before the game starts.
A long line leads to the stadium as the start of the game approaches.
The group heads toward the stadium ready to cheer on the Tigers.
We hand in our tickets in exchange for a seat in Death Valley.
The LSU stadium's beautiful architecture provide a pleasant ride to the top.
The condiment stand is a perfect place to spice up your hotdog and to enjoy the view overlooking campus.
Matt and Turner head to their seats as the game begins.
Death Valley is full and fans are eager to watch the game against E. Michigan.
Matt checks the scoreboard as the game heats up.
It's a win for the TIgers and the chaos of a Saturday night in Death Valley dies down once the game is over.
