Art Safari is the first professional and public art pavilion for Romanian heritage and contemporary art.

 

We had to draw attention to the event with low budget. So we decided to use a preconcieved idea anyone can be a contemporary artist and turn random objects around the city into art. First we photographed weird, interesting things around the location of the event, then we started a Facebook contest by asking people to give them methaphorical names that could turn them into objects of art. As a reveal we placed frames around the city with the winning names subscribed by people, along with the message of the campaign, that invites them to really understand contemporary art by visiting Art Safari.
