I want to show you my creative process when designing an illustration tshirt design. 
This time i want to show you this "Survivor" my submission for threadless contest called Nerds Rule. 
My ideas is to show when and how nerds become the hero, off course, Nerds will be the hero when the apocalypse comes. My believe is When apocalypse come, Nerds Will Rule!
With nerds brain anything can be deadly. 
So release the zombies!
Because we always be the survivor!

Sketching the ideas

 

Outlining, and finding the right references to draw it. 

Color Blocking, there are some trials and error finding the riight color

Start to shading it, my visualization is always try to have the light and dark effect.
My style influences is from the dark comic style ink.

 

adding some details

adding the warm colors to lift the illustration. 

Done. 
Before this step, there is some struggle to make some destroyed city and nuclear clouds for the background. But, In the end, i decided it not to use background so the illustration stands more.
