This direct mail piece increased new schools participating in this recycling program by 425%.
 
With a very targetted, personalized and dimentional approach - it hit the mark getting results for this program that needed a boost. To peak interest the contents were visible by mailing the piece in a clear box - allowing the recipient principals to see that each contained a teacher tool.
With the use of variable printing, each segment within the target list were able to get messages tailored to them. Schools who were not currently part of the program were invited to participate, and the benefits were outlined for them. Existing participants who weren't reporting their results were encourage and incentivised to do so. And schools that were participants, and good participants were rewarded and encouraged to continue their efforts.
Each piece included an interactive re-usable poster, and poster clings that could be used to
teach students what their beverage containers get turned into after they are tossed in the bins.
