A curated cultural experience for you
The Harn Museum in Gainesville approached me, and asked me to develop a concept to engage their audiences visiting their asian collection through a mobile app. In order to solve the problem, I looked beyond the museum, and identified how to create a holistic cultural experience.
The application allows audiences to interact with all the different cultural points in the community (Museums, Food, and Events) and collect points while experiencing these. The audiences can accumulate points, and later redeem them for free food, entrance to events or museums, or coupons.
The application would be used to connect different museums across the nation as they embark to enhance the educate their audiences past the museum walls and in their personal lives.
The application uses GPS location to understand what city you are in, and identify what museums are around you and the events that are taking place.
The GPS technology will also work within the museums, and identify your trip within the museum. An automated system can guide you through the work, and ask you questions that can earn you points.
