SmartPlayboard is an advanced gaming table designed to develop the full potential of every child.
SmartPlayboard, designed by Pietro Rigamonti during the Samsung Maestros Academy Master, helps educators to better understand children’s potentials and needs.






LOGOTYPE

The identity system focuses on the smart table, at the center of the SmartPlayboard method. 
In fact, the dynamism of the logo borns by mixing the form of the table with ideas of the Theory 
of Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner.
The table is designed for the children’s needs with rounded corners and a curved shape that confers a very distinctive and recognizable form. The mark starts from this iconic form representing a frame, a place, where a child can learn and develop his/her potential by playing.

ICONS

These icons have been designed to describe the various phases of the interaction between SmartPlayboard, the child, and the educator. Icons have been designed with curved and friendly shapes that recall those of the mark, the first icons are the most simple because are dedicated to the child, while the others are more complex to represent the activities and the analyses of educators.

DYNAMIC IDENTITY

The dynamism of the logo is based on Howard Gardner’s “Theory of Multiple Intelligences”. The fixed part is the iconic shape of the table, which represents the centrality of the SmartPlayboard method; the variable part being represented by the alternation of different intelligences (9 intelligences all over) which rise and evolve with the child’s growth.

SmartPlayboard is a smart-tool and, in a metaphoric way, a space suitable for the growth and development of every child’s potentials. The variation of the logo reflects this essential feature, adapting each time to be filled and personalized, even by the children, with the most different elements.
