A collaborative project with Anglo-american poet Lytton Smith and students from the BA(Hons) Illustration programme at Plymouth University.
Lytton's book-length poem The All-purpose Magical Tent (2009, Nightboat Books) was re-imagined for social media using five fictional characters that algorithmically post parallel (but often intersecting) illustrated narratives from separate Twitter accounts. These streams are brought together in a web app, which allows users to view all stories at once, or filter out a particular thread.
All text was reworked from the original book by Lytton. Illustrations below are by Jamie Bradford, Sophia Viney, Claire Knight and Andjela Vranjes respectively.
I conceived and coordinated the project, built the system that generated the tweets, and designed and developed the web app.
