A collaborative project with poet Lytton Smith and students from the BA(Hons) Illustration programme at the University of Plymouth.
Lytton's book-length poem The All-purpose Magical Tent (2009, Nightboat Books) was re-imagined for Twitter using five fictional characters that algorithmically tweeted narratives from separate accounts. These could be viewed directly on Twitter, or brought together in a web app, that allowed users to either combine the stories into a single intersecting thread, or filter out individual voices.
Illustrations below are by Jamie Bradford, Sophia Viney, Claire Knight and Andjela Vranjes respectively.
I conceived and coordinated the project, built the system that generated the tweets, and designed and developed the web app.
