This print is inspired by the simplified shaps in tradition Japanese paintings of the landscape. The way the landscape was simplified caught my attention and inspired me to paint a landscape that is simplified as well. But I decided to abstract the landscape even more in my print to create a more surreal look. Also, different from the colors used in the traditional Japanese paintings, I chose a more contradicting and neon color palette to make the print look even more unrealistic.
