in Copenaghen: Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek
The Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek is an art museum of international statue in the centre of Copenhagen. The collection is built around the personal collection of Carl Jacobsen -1842–1914-, the son of the founder of the Carlsberg Breweries. The Glyptotek houses over 10,000 works of art divided up into two collections: works from the Mediterranean cradle of Western culture and Danish and French art works from the 19th and 20th centuries.
