Outdoor Canopy
Esta cobertura foi projectada como proposta para um espaço que albergasse concertos, reuniões e outros eventos no jardim de um hotel em Óbidos. Para que este projecto se integrasse nesse ambiente pré-existente, a gingeira foi o modelo inspirador, visto que é o símbolo da região de Óbidos. Os painéis que constituem a cobertura são formas abstractas que representam as folhas da gingeira e as luzes têm a forma das ginjas, permitindo assim uma combinação de sombras e luzes.
This canopy was designed as a proposal for a space which hosts concerts, meetingsand other events in the garden of a hotel in Óbidos, Portugal. In order for this projectwould integrate in this pre-existing environment, the cherry tree was the role model,since it is the symbol of the region of Óbidos. The panels that form the roof areabstract forms, that represent the leaves of the cherry tree and the lights have the form of sour cherries, allowing a combination of shadows and lights.
