CAVALO ESTÚDIO

Cavalo is a brand new recording & rehearsal studio whose target audiences are independent and minor label musicians who seek high-quality music production at an affordable price.
PROJECT BACKGROUND

The independent music scene in São Paulo is full of small studios that fulfill the needs of wannabe/small bands but can’t meet the standards of bigger independent artists; the city also sees a significant emergence of professional studios that offer top notch service but at a high cost.

Cavalo Estúdio is in between, offering the same high-quality music production as big name studios do, but at the price range of smaller studios.
VISUAL IDENTITY

The project began by studying what those independent and minor label musicians expect of a recording & rehearsal studio and what are the standards they’ve set. Cavalo Estúdio’s owners wanted a minimalist, straight-to-the-point visual identity.

For the logotype I worked with simple geometric shapes and drew elegant yet bold characters, inspiring youth and finesse, with great legibility even on tiny sizes. The visual identity is as simple as can be, valuing the logo and the big square seal.
WEBSITE

For Cavalo Estúdio, I developed a minimalist, direct website featuring big catchy images and a concise introduction, so the musicians will know if this is the right studio for them at first glance.
