Fission Strategy helped California Emerging Tech Fund (CETF) achieve coordinated action with "Internet For All Now", a campaign that pushed firmly on the FCC, Comcast and Time Warner to take critical steps to help close the Digital Divide. Fission carried out an extensive online and offline outreach strategy that included wildfire petition outreach (through four different petition platforms), organization and partner outreach, campaign branding and social media design, Twitter engagement, and Facebook engagement.
 
As part of the many shareables that we created for this campaign, Fission designed an infographic that shared facts on internet availability in the US as well as the steps that can be taken to help fix the problem. This infographic made powerful data and actionable information more accessible, sharable, and easy for anyone to understand.  The infographic was shared on a variety of social media services and helped drive traffic to various petitions platforms. These petitions ended up delivering a combined total of 168,449 individual emails to the FCC either via their FCC public comment box or directly to the FCC commissioners. Each commissioner also received a printed copy of the infographic to breakdown the opportunity to improve broadband access for lower income communities. 
 
CETF ended up winning policy inclusion of 4 out of the 5 guidelines in the FCC title 2 ruling to improve broadband access for low income communities in the US!
