I had to find a querky and funny way to get people to start recycling their old phones within the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC).  The goal was to get users to drop their phones into a drop off box located at different locations accross the country. Obvisouly paper shredding a phone is not something that is advised but sure gets the attention.
