This book called "The Dress," is about clothing in the 20th century. I designed the cover, pictured below, to appear as if it is a silhouette of a dress. The paper is very thick with a soft texture. There is a sense of 3d within these piece because of the layering of paper with different sizes and weight. There is a slim piece with the words "throughout the 20th century" and right behind that is a piece of velum paper, that gives the black dress illustration behind it an opaque feel.
